Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router 7 (UDR7) – Compact WiFi 7 Cloud Gateway & NVR

The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router 7 (UDR7) is an all-in-one Cloud Gateway engineered for high-demand residential environments, branch offices, and boutique commercial spaces. Upgraded with a quad-core 1.5 GHz ARM processor and 3 GB RAM, it delivers massive performance gains over previous generations, processing high-speed routing, deep packet inspection, and camera streams simultaneously without performance bottlenecks.

The UDR7 introduces ultra-fast WiFi 7 wireless speeds across 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz frequency bands, delivering up to 10.6 Gbps of combined wireless throughput. Equipped with a 10G SFP+ port and multi-gigabit 2.5 GbE interfaces, it seamlessly handles high-speed fiber internet services. With a built-in 64 GB microSD card for UniFi Protect security camera recording and hosting for all UniFi apps, it eliminates the need for standalone controllers, switches, or access points in small-to-medium deployments.

Key Features & Benefits:

• Built-in Tri-Band WiFi 7: 6-stream 802.11be architecture with 320 MHz channel support on 6 GHz, delivering ultra-low latency and multi-gigabit wireless performance.
• 10G Uplink & 2.5 GbE Switch: Features a 10G SFP+ WAN port alongside multi-gig 2.5 GbE LAN ports to eliminate wired network bottlenecks.
• Integrated PoE Port: Includes one 2.5 GbE PoE LAN port (15.4W) to directly power a UniFi IP camera or secondary access point.
• 2.3 Gbps Full Threat Management: Advanced stateful firewall with DPI, IPS/IDS protection, ad-blocking, and Layer 7 application filtering at line rate.
• UniFi Protect Surveillance Support: Built-in NVR functionality with pre-installed 64 GB microSD storage for continuous HD or 4K security camera recording.
• License-Free Multi-Site Cloud Access: Provision, monitor, and manage your network, access control, and phone systems globally via the UniFi Site Manager portal or mobile app.

Deployment & Powering Notes:

• Power Input: Features a clean internal 50W AC/DC power supply powered via a standard AC power cord (no bulky external power brick).
• Storage Upgradability: Expand video retention for UniFi Protect by swapping the pre-installed 64 GB microSD card with a higher-capacity High Endurance microSD card.
• Placement & Coverage: Compact cylinder/pod desktop form factor designed for open placement on desks or central tables for optimal 360-degree WiFi 7 signal propagation.
